Pear Pecan Salad with a Fabulous Dressing

Pear Pecan Salad with a Fabulous Dressing

Chef Ani creates an elegant yet simple Pear and Pecan Green Salad. The recipe features a brightly colored homemade dressing made by blending grape and lemon juices with canned pears.

Chef Ani explains that the dressing can be prepared either with or without olive oil. By making your own dressing, you can avoid the preservatives found in the bottled salad dressings sold at the supermarket.

After creating the dressing, Ani toasts pecans on a baking sheet for a cozy winter touch. Finally, Ani blends her greens and demonstrates how to easily create beautiful thin pear slices to finish the salad. The gorgeous salad will impress dinner party guests while providing healthy fats and antioxidants.
